Information is also collected if you update and submit contact details once logged into MyPower Online. In addition, when you enquire by phone about the services we provide, and/or proceed to make a job booking, your personal contact information is also collected.
We may also collect names, addresses and phone numbers that our clients voluntarily divulge about their friends, relatives or colleagues for referral purposes only.

Part II. Information Usage.

The information collected by Prestige Power will be used solely for our contact with you regarding our products and/or services. Users who provide information may receive email announcements, advertisements, Christmas cards, newsletters, special deals or Company updates and developments.

Out of respect for the privacy of our users we offer you the opportunity to ‘opt out’ of these types of communications.

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, we will update our policy and advise you as soon as possible.

Prestige Power maintains the accuracy of our information and takes all reasonable steps to do so. Clients may access their own personal information and contact us at any time about inaccuracies they may notice. Clients may request that we delete their information from our database simply by contacting us.

Prestige Power uses security procedures and the latest technology to protect the information we hold. Access to, and use of personal information within Prestige Power is appropriately limited to prevent misuse or unlawful disclosure of the information. To ensure ongoing privacy we recommend you maintain confidentiality of any user name and password details for MyPower Online.

Personal information will not be released to persons or entities outside our organisation without your consent except where:

  1. Such disclosure is permitted under Schedule 3 of the Privacy Act 1988,
  2. Prestige Power is required by law to disclose information to third parties.
  3. Prestige Power has outsourced some internal functions to third party contractors, for example, hosting servers or website designers.
